Ans.) Engineering Degree in Electronics / Electrical / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation or M.Sc Electronics with first class in final degree (more than 60%).


Ans.) Certificate in Digital and Analog VLSI Design (CDAD) is a five-month full-time course consisting of five modules, an industry relevant project and a seminar.


Ans.)  Before filling the on-line application form, the candidate must ensure that the DD of Rs.250 /-  in favour of  C-DAC  payable at Hyderabad is ready, scanned photograph of the candidate in .jpg/.jpeg format and all the academic details of the candidate.  Please keep the above details ready before filling the on-line application.


Ans.) Scanned photograph should be in the format of the .jpg /.jpeg


Ans.)  The size of the photograph should be less than 50 kb. Resolution of the scanned photo should be in the range of 200-300 dpi (pixel/inch) in the setting of scanner. If there is any problem in scanning the photograph, candidate can take the help of the concerned person in the cyber café


Ans.) No.    Candidate is required to do only one registration for the course.   In case the candidate does multiple registrations his/her candidature will be summarily rejected at any stage of the selection process.


After verification of your details, documents and demand draft,  the form number will be communicated to the candidate.


Ans.) Candidate can download the admit card by logging in our website using the Registration Id and Password and take printout of the same.  Candidate must bring Admit Card for appearing for the CET.

Ans.) The CET is Common Entrance Test. CDAD CET exam is a written/objective type exam. It is not an on-line exam. There is no negative marking.
 

Ans.) The course fee is Rs.45,000/-(Rupees Forty Five Thousand only).  No installments.

  • C Programming and Data Structures: Constants, Data Types, Variables, Operators and Expressions, Control Flow - if, if-else, switch, for & while statements, functions, Arrays and Pointers, Structures and Unions, Input & Output in C, Preprocessor directives, Bit wise operators & Bit-fields, Data Structures - Linked Lists, Stacks, Queues, Trees, Graphs, Searching & Sorting Algorithms.
  • Operating System Concepts: Introduction to Operating Systems (OS), Process Management - Process Concepts, Scheduling Algorithms, Inter process Communication, Memory Management - Memory allocation problems, Paging, Segmentation, Virtual Memory, Page Replacement Algorithms, Thrashing & Working Set Model, File System Management, Secondary Storage Management, Device Management and File Protection & Security.
  • Electronics: Semiconductor Electronics, Electronic Devices, Analog Integrated Circuits, Op-Amps, Comparators.
  • Digital Design: Boolean Algebra, Logic Gates, Multiplexes, Decoders, Code Converters, Design and Minimization Techniques, Latches and Flip-flops, Counters, Shift-Registers, Comparators, Timers, Multivibrators, Finite State Machines (FSM) Design and Minimization techniques, Microprocessors (x86 architecture), Assembly Language Programming, Memory and I/O interfacing.
  • Data Communication and Networking: Basics of Data Communication, Switching, Multiplexing, Demultiplexing, Synchronous/Asynchronous Communication , OSI and TCP/IP Protocol Suites, LAN Topologies and Protocols (Ethernet-CSMA/CD, Token Ring, Token bus protocols), WAN Protocols (HDLC, X.25, Frame Relay, ISDN).
  • Aptitude Test: The Aptitude Test will be conducted on the GRE/GMAT pattern. The questions will test the applicant's Quantitative Aptitude, Analytical Ability and Vocabulary of the English Language and written communication skills.

Ans.) After getting the seat, candidate can get  the bank loan recommendation letter for getting loan from Nationalized Banks.


Ans.) No,C-DAC does not guarantee any placements but provides support.
